Chuck Carvalho handles a few tasks around here including bookings, tech-work, recording bands and is also our in-house mastering engineer (20+ years of experience with clients including Burton Cummings, The Tragically Hip, Sarah Slean, Shout Out Out Out Out, Bill Bourne, etc) spent many years training with his father (Joao Carvalho, known by many as the king of mastering) and also has years of experience on the technical side of things, doing cool stuff like hand building and repairing pro audio gear for Airfield Audio and also wiring up studios for folks like Deadmau5 and the National Music Center.
All of this experience has led Chuck to wearing a few different hats around Hapy Hipi Studios.

L Stu Young needs no introduction. With 40+ years of experience, it's easy to see that he is a very sharp weapon in this industry. Having been the head engineer at other studios in previous years and having worked with artists like Prince, Burton Cummings, Guns and Roses, Sum 41, K-OS. Need we say more?
